Alexandra Poitras began playing hockey at the age of twelve. She represented New York at the Hockey Night in Boston showcases as well as Long Island at the Empire State Games multiple times. After attending the North American Hockey Academy, NAHA, in Vermont, she went on to play for Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. This will be her fifth year coaching hockey and has experience from U-12 girls, to Men's College. Although working for a Major Bank, attending grad school, and planning her wedding, Alex's love for the sport of hockey cannot keep her out of a rink.
