Tom has been a registered USA Hockey coach since 1992. His coaching experiences range from organizing developmental clinics and House League teams for PAL, to the Head Coach positions of The Lady Islanders 19U Team, Mite through Midget Major Travel Teams, Sachem High Schools Freshman and Junior Varsity Teams, as well as an assistant coach for Sachems Varsity Team. Tom was also an assistant coach for the 88 & 90 LI Select Teams for 4 seasons.

Tom has played the game as a Goaltender since 1973.

In his coaching career he has had the pleasure and good fortune to take four teams to the NYS Championship Games and one team to the National Championship Games.

Tom's coaching education has included taking part in Roger Nielsen’s Coaching Clinic in Windsor Ontario for 6 seasons and he currently holds a Level 4 USA Hockey Coaching Certification.

Tom is married and has three children who play the game, two in College and one for the Lady Islanders.
