Alexis started playing hockey at age 13 on the Green Vale School boys team. She went on to play for the Portledge boys team and the Dix Hills Rebels Tier I team. Her senior year she moved to the Connecticut Polar Bears Midget Tier I team where she won the national championship. Alexis attended three Hockey Night in Boston tournaments winning MVP for New York my senior year as well as attending the junior national development camp my senior year. She played division one hockey at Boston College where she received the Athletics Directors award, the ECAC and Hockey East all academic team award, and Eagles varsity club selection. For the past five years Alexis has coached for the Long Island Gulls and Ice Cats organization at the Midget to pee wee level. She currently plays in the Suffolk Men’s league and works as an Advertising Account Coordinator.
